View Audit Logs

Monitor all activity in your organization with detailed audit logs for security and compliance.

Audit logs track every significant action in your organization - from member changes to session access. This is essential for HIPAA compliance and security monitoring.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an Owner or Admin to view audit logs

Accessing audit logs

Navigate to Organization > Auditing tab.

Filtering logs

Use the filter bar at the top to narrow down results:

  • Resource Type - Filter by category (Organization, Members, Sessions, Patients, etc.)
  • Action - Search for specific actions
  • User - Search by email to see a specific user's activity
  • Date range - Set from/to dates to view activity in a time window

Reading log entries

Each log entry shows:

Column Description
Timestamp When the action occurred
User Who performed the action (name and email)
Resource Type What type of resource was affected (color-coded badge)
Action What was done (e.g., "create", "update", "delete")
Resource The ID of the affected resource
Status Whether the action succeeded or failed

Pagination

Audit logs display 50 entries per page. Use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate through results.

Common use cases

  • Security reviews - Filter by "Members" to see all role changes and invitations
  • PHI access tracking - Filter by "Sessions" to see who accessed transcription data
  • Incident investigation - Use date range + user filters to trace specific activity
  • Compliance audits - Export relevant log entries for external auditors
