A clearer Dictation page and a cleaner session toolbar

  • •New organizations can sign their Business Associate Agreement again. Signing from Settings was failing, which left recording, transcription and AI features locked with no way forward.
  • •Signing the BAA is now the last step of setting up a new organization, so you can start recording right away. You can also choose to do it later.
  • •Whenever a feature is locked because your BAA is not signed yet, you get a message with a button that takes you straight to signing it. Team members who cannot sign are told who can.
  • •The Compliance tab in your organization settings now shows exactly what is left to do: your BAA, your data processing agreement and patient recording consent, each with a button to finish it. Data retention and the AI processing location moved here too, with their current settings at a glance.
  • •When you ask us to delete or export your data, you now see the step to confirm it by email, with a button to resend the email.
  • •Your notification preferences now load and save correctly on the web, and the switches in the mobile app save too.
  • •Signed-in users can upgrade from the pricing page again. It now opens the plan for the organization you were last working in.

  • •The Dictation page now teaches your shortcut first. Practice shows exactly which key to press, so you can find it on your keyboard, and History and Settings are one tab away.
  • •Try dictation right on the page. Click into the practice note, press your shortcut and say a sentence, or click the dark bar to start without the keyboard. It is a real dictation, so you see every step as it happens: listening, transcribing, and your words added at the cursor.
  • •A short guide beside the practice note shows what each stage of the dark bar looks like, with tips on tapping or holding the shortcut, canceling with Esc, and picking a combination such as Alt + D on a French keyboard.
  • •Dictation settings open straight from your account settings, and each tab has its own link you can bookmark.
  • •Record, Stream, Meeting and Upload now share one compact button. Click the arrow next to it to switch how you capture a visit.
  • •Generate note now sits right next to Record, at the same size, in every layout, so writing the note after a visit is one obvious click.

  • •Searching your sessions works again, and finds matching folders too. If a search ever fails, the list says so plainly and lets you try again.
  • •Dates of birth now show correctly everywhere. In time zones west of UTC, including all of Canada, the patient chart showed the day before, so patients who typed the date they were told on a secure message link were turned away. The date the patient actually has on file now opens their messages.
  • •When a patient enters the wrong date of birth too many times, their secure messages lock and they get an email saying so, in English or French, with your practice's name and phone number so they can call you. The email includes nothing about the patient or the conversation.
  • •Locked conversations are marked Locked in Messages. Open one and choose Unlock and send a new link to send the patient a fresh link. Sending a new message also unlocks it.
  • •New: patient forms. Build intake forms, consents and questionnaires under Patient forms in the Clinical menu, or start from ready-made ones: new patient intake, consent to treatment, PHQ-9, PHQ-2, GAD-7 and review of systems. Forms can be in English and French, show questions only when an earlier answer calls for them, and you can preview them exactly as your patient will see them.
  • •Send forms automatically for each visit type, when the visit is booked, a few days before, or both, and patients get a reminder if they have not finished. You can also send forms yourself from an appointment or the patient chart.
  • •Patients fill in forms on their phone through a secure link after confirming their date of birth. Their answers save as they go, so they can stop and come back, and they can sign right on the screen. The email names only your practice, never the patient or the forms.
  • •Already have your own fillable PDF forms? Attach one and its fields become questions your patients answer on their phone. When they submit, you get your original PDF filled in, signed and locked, ready to download from the chart.
  • •See where every patient is at a glance: each appointment on the schedule shows whether forms are sent, in progress, completed, overdue or need attention, and the reminders worklist has an Incomplete forms filter. Answers, PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores, and flagged answers such as PHQ-9 question 9 appear in the chart's Forms tab, update live, and can be marked reviewed.
  • •Completed forms for a visit show in the session's Context tab and are used when the AI writes the note.
  • •Policy update dates now show the correct day. Notices about upcoming changes to our terms showed the day before in time zones west of UTC.

A tidier session page and a more useful Assistant

  • •Choose what the Assistant answers from. Use the Sources button or type @ in your question to pick specific knowledge base documents, your whole knowledge base, or our medical library, and the answer draws only on what you picked.
  • •Rate the Assistant's answers with a thumbs up or down, and say what went wrong if an answer missed the mark. Click the thumb again to take your rating back.
  • •Copy an Assistant answer with its formatting: headings, lists and tables paste cleanly into your EHR or a document, and fields that only take plain text get tidy text.
  • •Share an Assistant conversation with a public link, once an owner or admin turns sharing on in Settings, General, AI-Assisted Features. Before a link is made the conversation is checked for names, contact details, dates and ID numbers, and you confirm it identifies no one. Links expire after 30 or 90 days or never, and you can revoke them from Shared links at any time.
  • •The session page is less crowded: Lock, Share, Session details and Display settings now live under one More (...) button next to the Assistant, and a Locked badge by the title shows when a session is locked. The side details panel is gone.
  • •Sessions, Templates and PDF Forms now sit together under Sessions in the main menu, and PDF Forms has its own page instead of a tab inside Templates.
  • •The sessions list is cleaner. Rename a session or edit its description right in the session header, and select sessions by hovering a patient's initials (or pressing and holding on a phone) to move or delete them together. Each row shows the description first, then the time.
  • •Note history now only records changes made with the AI prompter, regenerations and restores, so your own typing no longer fills it up, and Undo always takes you back to the version before the last AI change.
  • •Notes and context in the editor now use the same text size and font as the rest of the app.
  • •Clicking a line in a transcript now plays the recording from that line, every time.
  • •Need help? Choose Help in the account menu under your name to chat with us. The chat button no longer floats over your work.
  • •Saving your specialty in your profile works again, for any specialty you type.
  • •Secure message emails to patients now display properly in every mail app, and the link in an older message keeps working after you send a new one, until it expires.
  • •Sign-in links and other emails we send are more reliable across mail apps.
  • •Menus open right next to the button you tapped, and buttons and menu items are easier to tap on phones and tablets.
  • •Pages that cannot be found now show a proper Page not found message instead of a blank screen, and a rare error when moving between some pages is fixed.
  • •The top bar on phones is slimmer and shows your organization. Its record button takes you to your sessions, and it steps aside on the sessions page, which has its own.
  • •Sessions on a phone now work like a phone app: your session list fills the screen, tapping a session opens it full screen, and the back arrow returns you to the list. The recording controls sit on their own row so they are easy to reach.
  • •The app no longer asks for your microphone when you open a page, so you are not interrupted by repeated "Microphone access allowed" messages. It asks when you start recording, or when you choose to list your microphones.
  • •If your organization's logo cannot be loaded, the standard organization icon is shown instead of a broken image.
  • •Templates, patient charts, tasks, the dashboard, reminders, schedule settings and your account settings are more compact on phones, with tabs you can swipe and buttons that stay on screen.

Clinical calculators inside your visits

  • •Dictation now has its own page in the main menu. See your recent dictations from the web and the desktop app, copy or delete them, and choose your dictation language, microphone and how long history is kept (off, 1, 7 or 30 days; 7 by default). Only you can see your dictations, and the audio is never kept.
  • •Message your patients securely. Start a conversation from a patient's chart or from the patient panel during a visit, and keep track of every thread in the new Messages inbox. Patients are told by email, only if they have consented to email, and the message itself never travels by email: they open a secure link, confirm their date of birth, and read and reply there. You can see when a patient has read your message, and their replies show up in Messages right away.
  • •Run a clinical calculator without leaving a visit: choose Calculator from + Generate. Age and sex are filled in from the patient's chart as of the visit date, the patient's recently used calculators are listed first, and the result is saved to their chart and linked to that visit. Copy for note puts the score, its interpretation and every input on your clipboard to paste into the note.
  • •The Assistant answers literature questions faster. It now searches our built-in medical library of over a million PubMed abstracts, clinical guidelines and drug labels, and your questions are never sent to outside search services.
  • •Moving quickly around the app no longer shows "too many requests" errors, however busy your clinic gets.
  • •Signing in with Google works reliably again, including from a sign-in page you left open for a while and when several people at your clinic sign in at once.
  • •The summary of a patient's recent visits now lives in the patient details. Click the patient's name at the top of a visit to see it next to their recording consent, instead of a banner above your transcript.
  • •If your organization reaches its daily or monthly AI usage limit, you now get a clear message saying which limit it is and when it resets, instead of a prompt to change plans. Recording and transcription are never affected.
  • •Your scribe sessions now show on the schedule. A session started for a patient who has an appointment around that time is filed under it, and the visit moves to in progress, then to completed when you finish the session. A session with no appointment shows as a recorded visit of its own. Click any visit on the schedule to open its session, and use the Visit button at the top of a session to move it to a different appointment or unlink it.
  • •Sharing a session with a colleague now gives them access to it: view-only or with editing, depending on how you share it.
  • •Guests now get a clean read-only view of the sessions they can open.

A schedule built for the front desk

  • •Drag an appointment to a new time, provider or day, or drag its bottom edge to change how long it runs. Undo is one click away.
  • •Check patients in when they arrive and see who is with a provider. Starting a scribe session from an appointment marks the visit as in progress and links the two.
  • •Patients can cancel or reschedule from the link in their reminder email, within a cutoff you set in schedule settings.
  • •Find next available shows the provider's next open times right in the booking form, and you get a heads-up when a time falls outside working hours or during time off.
  • •Time off now shows on the schedule, a new Agenda view lists the day or week and prints cleanly, and you can search for a patient to jump straight to their appointment.
  • •Each patient's chart now lists their past and upcoming appointments, with Schedule appointment and Send booking link right there. Booking links can be emailed to the patient instead of copied.
  • •The Reminders page has a today and tomorrow work queue: who confirmed, who has not replied, who needs a call, and who cancelled.
  • •Online booking confirmations offer an Add to calendar file, and a missed visit that is rebooked no longer keeps sending recovery messages.
  • •Editing a recurring appointment with This and future now moves the rest of the series instead of cancelling it.
  • •Select several sessions at once to link them to a patient, move them to a folder, or delete them in one go. Shift-click selects a range.
  • •Drag sessions onto a folder to file them, or onto the folder path at the top to move them back up a level.
  • •When you add or delete a document in a visit, the highlighted tab now always matches the document open in the editor.
  • •New documents appear in the same place in the tab row before and after you refresh the page.
  • •When you record a visit in several parts, each part now plays and downloads its own audio, and clicking a line jumps to the right moment in that part's recording.
  • •Profile settings are now available in French, including field labels, avatar options, and error messages.
  • •If audio storage is briefly unavailable when you stop recording, the visit's audio is now kept securely and added to the visit once storage is back, with speaker labels to follow, instead of being lost. Your transcript is saved right away as before.
  • •Generating a note right after you stop recording now waits the few seconds it takes to label who said what, so the note gets speaker attribution instead of being written without it.
  • •The account menu at the bottom of the sidebar now opens upward, so Profile, What's New and Sign out are always on screen.

  • •Link a calculation to a patient to prefill their age and sex, then save the result to their chart, where it appears under Calculations.
  • •Add your clinic's protocols, policies and notes to the Assistant's Knowledge, by uploading a PDF or text file or pasting text. The Assistant searches them and cites the passage it used, so you can check the source.
  • •Keep a document to yourself, or, as an admin, share it with everyone in your organization.
  • •If your organization has turned off the clinical assistant chat, the Assistant and its knowledge base now follow that setting too.
  • •Dictate into any text box: press the ` key (left of 1), speak, and press it again. Your words appear where your cursor was, ready to edit. Hold the key while you talk if you prefer, and change the key or turn dictation off in Settings.
  • •The schedule updates live. When a patient books online, the appointment appears right away, highlighted, with a notice you can click to open it.
  • •Changes your colleagues make to the schedule, and confirmations or cancellations from patients, show up on your screen without refreshing.
