What the desktop app adds
The web app does the documentation. The desktop app gives it a better microphone and a place on your screen.
Native microphone capture
The app records through your computer's audio system, not the browser, so recordings start reliably and keep going for a full visit.
Dictate into any program
Press one shortcut in your EHR, your email or any text field, speak, press again. The transcript is typed where your cursor is.
Always a click away
The app sits in the menu bar or system tray. Start and stop dictation from there, and close the window without quitting.
Same account, same notes
Sign in with your Transcribe Health account, including Google and clinic single sign-on. Your sessions and notes are the ones you see on the web.

Each platform page covers permissions, network access, the update policy, checksum verification and removal, written for the person who approves software in your clinic.
